The National coordinator of the Erasmus + program in Algeria participated in the final meeting of the CBHE project ICMED “International Credit Mobility: A New Challenge in the Mediterranean Region” at the University of Science and Technology of Oran on February 26th, 2020. The event was attended by the Vice-Director of Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mr. Khacheni Karim, the President of Regional Conference – West Mr. Benziane Abdelbaki, the Rector of the University of Science and Technology Mr. Hammou Benziane, the representative of the Delegation of the European Union in Algeria Mrs. Carolina Santrich Badal in his capacity as and Mr. German Bernal Rios of the representative of the Directorate General Education and Culture of the European Commission and last but not least, the representatives of partner HEI in this CBHE project as well as other HEIs involved in ICMs.
The day’s program was divided into five sessions : overview on the International Credit Mobility in the Euro-Mediterranean region : impact of the ICMED project, the new Erasmus + 2021/2027 program : opportunities and challenges, beyond the ICM program : share good practices in International Mobility for Credits to improve international cooperation, the impact of the Erasmus + Virtual Exchange program on the MENA region and networking and cooperation with stakeholders and institutions.
